Married for 54 years, 2 children, 5 grandchildren. I have lived in the Dundas area for 51 years.

How long have you worked at Allowah?
38 years – 6 years nursing, then a broken ankle led me into administration (which I used to do before, in my single life) and the rest is history.

What have been some of the highlights of working at Allowah?
I have always felt Allowah was my second home. I have seen many changes all leading to the Allowah we are today. Lots of faces of children and staff flash through my memory when I think of all the highlights. One of my personal highlights was meeting the Governor General and receiving a plaque for years of service.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Spending time with family, quilting, gardening and catching up with friends.
