A Special Day to Celebrate and Give: Supporting Kids, Teens, and Young Adults with Complex Disabilities

"To have a place like Allowah where we know we can have a night out or something, go out with some friends, and he's in a safe environment having the time of his life, it’s just such a big, important thing."

This year, 3rd December marks two significant occasions: Giving Tuesday and the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). For us at Allowah, these events shine a light on the heart of what we do—providing exceptional care and support for children, teens, and young adults with complex disabilities, and celebrating their unique abilities, resilience, and joy.

For Families: You're Not Alone

At Allowah, we know the journey of caring for someone with complex disabilities can be filled with challenges, but also moments of incredible joy. Our mission is to stand alongside families like yours, offering care and support that goes beyond the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Whether it’s our skilled disability support workers creating meaningful experiences through play and therapy, or our expert clinical team ensuring the best medical care, we aim to provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. This care is made possible by the generosity of our community—people who believe in what we do and share our vision for a world where every child’s potential is celebrated.

For Our Supporters: You’re the Difference

Behind every smile, every moment, and every milestone at Allowah is someone like you—someone who gives generously to bridge the gap between what the NDIS can fund and what we strive to deliver. Your support enables us to provide therapies, activities, and experiences that enhance the lives of the children, teens, and young adults we serve.

Because of you, a child with sensory needs can enjoy tailored therapy sessions. A teenager with complex medical needs can receive care in a setting that feels like home. A young adult moving into supported independent living can look forward to a future filled with possibility.

Join Us in Making a Difference

This Giving Tuesday and International Day of People with Disability, we invite you to join us in celebrating and supporting the extraordinary kids and young people at Allowah. Whether you’re a parent, a supporter, or both, you are part of a community that champions their every smile, every moment, and every milestone.

  • Families: If you’re looking for a partner in care, reach out to Allowah. We’re here for you.
  • Supporters: Help us continue to go above and beyond by donating today. Every gift helps us provide the care these kids need and deserve.

Together, we can make this 3rd December a day of hope, joy, and generosity. Thank you for being part of the Allowah family.
