PARENT PARTNERSHIP

Parents and carers play an integral role at Allowah. Our family-centred approach aims to deliver exceptional health, therapy and support services for children with complex disabilities and health care needs that enables them to thrive and achieve their full potential. We do this by partnering with parents and carers, gaining their input and evaluation around the delivery of care and support provided by our service.

There are many ways for families to partner with us…

Parent and Carer Survey

We would like to know how we are doing, based on your experience receiving services at Allowah and caring for your children.

Please consider completing the survey below so that we can continue to work with you to provide the best care and services.

Parent and Carers Council at Allowah

The Parent and Carers Council consists of parents, carers and staff who work in partnership to enable you to provide input to, and evaluation of, the safe and effective delivery of care and services provided by Allowah Presbyterian Children’s Hospital and its programmes.

The Parent and Carers Council is not a delegated decision-making authority, rather the Council will review documentation, policies and improvement initiatives to support its purpose of providing input that guides Allowah’s strategic directions.

Meetings are available over Zoom so that you can slot them into your busy days. The Council meets 6 times a year. Meeting documents are circulated one week prior to the meetings to allow you time to prepare and gather your thoughts. The meetings take about an hour and are held on the last Tuesday of every other month at 5pm.
