Allowah Mandatory Training

Allowah Staff are required to complete a number of mandatory training modules each year. We have made some of these training modules available online. Please make sure you read the outcomes and instructions at the beginning of each training module to ensure you have achieved the required outcomes for that module.

Hand Hygiene

This link (right) takes you to the Hand Hygiene Australia Online Learning portal. You will need to create a free account to access the training on this site. Make sure you indicate Allowah during the registration so that we can track the completion of this training and keep training records up to date.

Click through the slides below for instruction on how to access the correct module and which module you need to complete.

Once you have completed the module, save your certificate and email it to Janet.Howland@allowah.org

Follow Link and Login or Register for an Account

Select Find a New Module or Re-Enroll in Module if it is the Correct Module
See next few slides for details about which modules you need to complete.
Option 1: Find a New Module
Scroll through the list of options to find the correct module. Click 'Enrol'. To find out which module you need to complete, see the last slide.
Option 2: Re-Enroll in Module
Select the correct module. Click 'Start Module Now'. To find out which module you need to complete, see the last slide.

Work Health and Safety

Please read through the training presentation and then click through to complete the training quiz. Your responses to the Quiz will be sent to Janet so that she can record that you have completed this module.

CPR

Please read through the instruction slides below and then click on the button (right) to complete the online RESUS4KIDS modules. Once you have completed the module/s please download your certificate/s and email them to Janet.Howland@allowah.org.au so she can record that you have completed the training.

How to access the online modules.
Step 1: Follow the Link

Step 2: Sign In or Enrol
If you have already enrolled, enter your email address and password, then click the "Sign In" button. If you need to enrol, click the "Click here to go to the enrolment page" link.
Step 3: How to Enrol
If you have logged in, jump to step 9. If you are enrolling, click the Enroll button
Step 4: Create an Account
Click the link shown below to create an account.
Step 5: Account Details
To create a new account: A. Enter your Email address. B. Choose your own password and enter it in the Password field. C. Re-enter your password in the Password Confirmation field. D. Click the Sign up button.
Step 6: Enrollment Page
You are returned to the Enrollment page. You will notice in the top right corner you are now logged into the system. Click the Enroll button again.
Step 7: Enter Code
A. Enter the following code to access the training. apch20026 for Allowah Presbyterian Children's Hospital. B. Click the Submit button.
Step 8: Complete Your User Profile
Complete your user profile by entering the following information: A. Enter your first name B. Enter your last name C. Select your Organisation from the drop down list. D. Select your Role from the drop down list. E. Enter your Employee Number if applicable. F. Click Save
Step 9: Course Dashboard
You will be directed to the Course Dashboard where the RESUS4KIDS courses will be listed. Select a course from the list to access the training.
Step 10: Course and Certificate
Complete the course and download your certificate.
Step 11: Email Your Certificate
Email your certificate to Janet.Howland@allowah.org.au.

NDIS Worker Orientation

Please read through the instruction slides below and then click on the button (right) to complete the online module. Once you have completed the module please download your certificate and email it to Janet.Howland@allowah.org.au so she can record that you have completed the training.

How to access the online module.
Step One: Follow the Link
NDIS Worker Orientation
Step Two: Log In
You will be prompted to create a free account with on the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Training website. If you have completed training on this website before, you can log in using the same credentials as before. This Training only needs to be completed once, it does not need to be renewed each year.
Step Three: Complete the Module
Select the module called "Worker Orientation Module". It should appear at the top of the list. Accessible options are available if needed (screenreader and Auslan).
Step Four: Course and Certificate
Complete the course and save your certificate.
Step Four: Email Your Certificate
Email your certificate to Janet.Howland@allowah.org.au
