Allowah

Welcome to the Amazing Race – Allowah Edition!

The Aim

The Aim of the Amazing Race – Allowah Edition is for 7 teams to compete in a race through three checkpoints to the finish line. The race challenges teams to come to grips with one of the 7 standards that apply to Allowah under the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

Who are our Contestants?

All staff at Allowah are required to compete! You’ll be allocated to a team and you’ll need to work together in one way or another in order to complete each checkpoint. All teams will be on display on the Race Display in the main corridor.

Your Host

Your Amazing Race – Allowah Edition host, Nadine Mari-Zafra will guide you through the checkpoints in this fast paced, action filled race to the end. Nadine will be providing teams with key information during the race and is the “go to” person to ask any questions you may have.

The Race

During the race, each team will be racing through four checkpoints to the final destination. The teams will be tasked to deduce clues, navigate themselves in foreign areas, interact with locals, perform physical and mental challenges, and virtually travel to places unknown.

Who Wins?

The first team to reach the finish line will receive a grand prize!

The Race Display Wall

The Race Display for our Amazing Race is the wall in the main corridor on the left as you head from Reception to the Orange Room doors. This is where you will find your teams, clues and track the progress of your team.

SNAP Checklists

Our Short Notice Assessment for accreditation to the NSQHS Standards is fast approaching and can occur anytime between now and May 2024.

We’ve put together a list of common questions an Assessor may ask you when undertaking an onsite accreditation assessment against the NSQHS Standards.

Please familiarise yourself with the checklist relevant to your role and where to locate information (e.g. Allowah policies), if required.
